Celebrating Women’s History Month
Each March, Cleveland Housing Court joins communities across the nation in recognizing Women’s History Month, a time to reflect on the achievements, leadership, and lasting contributions of women throughout American history.
Women have played a vital role in shaping our legal system, strengthening public institutions, serving communities, and advancing fairness, access, and accountability in civic life. Their work continues to influence the courts, the legal profession, public administration, education, advocacy, and the systems that support the wellbeing of our communities.
Throughout the month, Cleveland Housing Court will feature women whose service, leadership, and professionalism help advance the Court’s mission and contribute to the administration of justice.
Magistrate Joanna N. Lopez Inman
Joanna N. Lopez Inman serves as a Magistrate with the Cleveland Municipal Court, Housing Division, bringing more than 13 years of experience in public service and the legal profession.
An Afro-Latina and bilingual in Spanish, Magistrate Lopez Inman is known for her thoughtful legal analysis, careful evaluation of evidence, and commitment to fair, equitable, and timely resolutions in housing matters.
Her career includes service as a magistrate in Cleveland Municipal Court and as a prosecutor with both the City of Cleveland and the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office. Through her collaborative approach and dedication to the rule of law, Magistrate Lopez Inman contributes to the efficient administration of justice and the Court’s mission to uphold community standards.
