Honoring the women whose leadership strengthens our court and community

Women’s History Month

Celebrating Women’s History Month

Each March, Cleveland Housing Court joins communities across the nation in recognizing Women’s History Month, a time to reflect on the achievements, leadership, and lasting contributions of women throughout American history.

Women have played a vital role in shaping our legal system, strengthening public institutions, serving communities, and advancing fairness, access, and accountability in civic life. Their work continues to influence the courts, the legal profession, public administration, education, advocacy, and the systems that support the wellbeing of our communities.

Throughout the month, Cleveland Housing Court will feature women whose service, leadership, and professionalism help advance the Court’s mission and contribute to the administration of justice.

Tracey Berger serves as a Housing Court Administrative Assistant and Scheduler with the Cleveland Municipal Court, Housing Division. She joined Housing Court in 2024 after eight years of service with the City of Cleveland, including seven years as an EMS (911) Dispatcher—experience that helped shape her discipline, composure, and ability to perform under pressure.

Since transitioning to Housing Court, Tracey has quickly adapted to the pace and responsibilities of her role. She approaches her work with a strong sense of purpose, understanding that meaningful impact requires consistency, perseverance, and a commitment to doing the work well each day. Her presence reflects both professionalism and a steady, positive energy that supports those around her.

Tracey is a two-time Dean’s Honor recipient from Cuyahoga Community College, where she earned her degree in Business Administration. She is currently continuing her education in Criminal Justice, reinforcing her ongoing commitment to growth and service.

Known for her leadership, reliability, and ability to bring a sense of perspective to the workplace, Tracey balances focus with approachability. She carries herself with confidence and intention, guided by a mindset centered on growth, purpose, and striving toward excellence. Colleagues appreciate that she brings both substance and just enough personality to keep things grounded—even on the busiest days.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Tracey enjoys fellowship through her ministry, participating in prayer groups with the Clerk’s Office, traveling, spending time with family, and shopping. During Women’s History Month, Cleveland Housing Court proudly recognizes Tracey Berger for her dedication, strong work ethic, and continued commitment to serving the public.
